AIS C, D- ≥ 1 years
- have a spinal cord injury for at least 1 year.
- have a neurological level of injury between C2 and T1.
- have one of the following ASIA impairment scale (AIS):
- AIS C: incomplete; at least some feeling and mostly weak movement below the injury.
- AIS D: incomplete; at least some feeling and, some weak but mostly stronger movement below the injury).
- have the ability to close at least one hand without assistance.
- be between the ages of 18 to 70 years.
- weigh ≤ 250 pounds (114kg).
