  • 6 months - 65 years
  • be scheduled to undergo clinically-indicated rehabilitative upper extremity surgery.
  • have no change in muscle strength testing in the past 6 months.
  • have no or almost no muscle function below the elbow.
  • have a body weight below 220 lbs (<100kg).
  • NOT be wearing a pacemaker
