  • NOT be ventilator dependent
  • NOT have history of cardiovascular, respiratory, bladder, or renal disease unrelated to SCI
  • NOT have history of seizures(epilepsy or recurring headaches
  • NOT have an intrathecal baclofen pump
  • NOT have had past electrode implantation surgery
  • NOT have implanted metal in the skull or pacemakers, stimulators, or medication pumps in the trunk
  • NOT have history of gastrointestinal atresia or stenosis
