Effects of CB1 Antagonist/Reverse Agonist Rimonabant on Walking Abilities in Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury
About this trial
This trial is enrolling individuals with chronic incomplete spinal cord injuries between C4 and L1 to test the safety of a drug (Rimonabant) and its potential effect on walking ability. If included, participants will either take: 1) Rimonabant 5mg per day for 90 days; or 2) a placebo drug for 90 days. Final testing of walking ability will be performed after 90 days; other safety measures will be assessed after 120 days.
