This pilot trial is enrolling 32 participants with spinal cord injury to test the safety and feasibility of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS). taVNS is a non-invasive technique that uses mild electrical stimulation applied through the ear to stimulate a branch of the vagus nerve, which is involved in regulating pain, inflammation, and several bodily functions. If included, participants will be randomly assigned to receive either active taVNS or sham stimulation at home for 4 hours per day for 30 days. Final testing will be performed after 30 days.
