Fall Prevention Among People With Spinal Cord Injury and Multiple Sclerosis Who Use Wheelchairs and Scooters
About this trial
This trial is enrolling 120 participants with spinal cord injury or multiple sclerosis who use a wheelchair or scooter to compare two fall-prevention approaches: a personalized mobile program (iROLL-O+); or a standard fall-prevention education based on the Stopping Elderly Accidents, Deaths, and Injuries (STEADI) program. If included, participants will be randomly assigned to take part in a 6-week fall-prevention and management program delivered either through the iROLL app or through STEADI educational materials. Final testing will be performed after 14 weeks.
