Food Intake and Thermogenesis in High Spinal Cord Injury

About this trial

This trial is enrolling 56 male participants with and without spinal cord injury to test the effect of food on cardiovascular and metabolic health. If included, participants will attend 3 visits, each including a standardized control meal and one of 3 test meals, in random order (500 g; low-, moderate-, or high-nutrient). Each visit lasts approximately 6 hours, with 1 week between visits. Final testing will be performed after 3 weeks.
