Implant for Walking After Incomplete SCI
About this trial
This feasibility study is enrolling 5 individuals with chronic incomplete spinal cord injury to test the effect of an implanted neural stimulator (NNP-LE) on walking function. The NNP-LE system delivers electrical stimulation to leg and trunk muscles to support walking. If included, participants will first complete walking training, then undergo surgical implantation of the NNP-LE system, followed by training to use the device to assist walking. Final testing of walking function will be performed after 2 years.
