An Online Rehabilitation Programme for People with SCI

About this trial

This feasibility study is enrolling 30 participants with subacute spinal cord injury to test the effect of an online rehabilitation program during the transition from hospital to home. If included, participants will receive a personalized 12-week online program to complete twice weekly; the program consists of strengthening, aerobic and stretching exercises. Final testing of feasibility and effect on general health will be performed after 12 weeks.

    - Participants will receive a personalized 12-week online rehabilitation program to complete twice weekly, which includes strengthening, aerobic, and stretching exercises. - The program will be accessed through an online platform featuring exercise videos with written and audio instructions, an exercise diary, educational advice, and a built-in messaging system for communication between the therapist and participant. - Final testing of feasibility will be performed after 12 weeks.
