About this trial

This trial is enrolling 60 individuals with spinal cord injury to evaluate the effect of different intravenous drugs (remifentanil, esketamine, flurbiprofen) combined with spinal cord stimulation (SCS) on pain and electroencephalogram measurements. SCS is a technique for stimulating the spinal cord to modify spinal cord function. This study requires a surgically implanted stimulator. The electroencephaologram records electrical activity in the brain using scalp electrodes. If included, participants will receive remifentanil, esketamine, or flurbiprofen combined with SCS. Final testing of pain will be performed after 1 week.
