Stem Cells in Spinal Cord Injury

About this trial

This is a first-in-human trial to test the safety and effect Neuro-Cells (stem cells produced from your own bone marrow) injected into your injured spinal cord. If included in this trial, the participant will receive either the Neuro-Cells or placebo. Participation will include a screening period (1-2days), an intervention period (1-2 days), and a follow-up after 1 year. The participants assigned to the placebo group will also receive Neuro-Cells six months later.

    have had a spinal cord injury for 6-8 weeks.
    have a neurological level of injury between C6 and T12.

    The participant will receive either 1) the Neuro-Cells or 2) the inactive intervention (placebo). Participation will include a screening period (1-2 days), an intervention period (1-2 days), and a follow-up after 1 year. Approximately six months after time of inclusion, the participants assigned to the placebo group will also receive Neuro-Cells.
