Spinal Cord Injury - Assessing Tolerability and Use of Combined Rehabilitation and NeuroAiD
About this trial
This is a trial to test the effect of a drug (NeuroAiD) in patients with spinal cord injury. NeuroAiD is a “natural product” in several formulations given in oral capsule form that contain Chinese herbal and other ingredients. If included, the participant will receive NeuroAiD for 6 months in addition to standard care and will be monitored for 24 months. The treatment duration is 6 months and participants will be monitored for 24 months (follow-up assessments occur at 1, 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months). All participants are allowed to receive standard care and other therapies and treatments

The total duration of the study is 24 months and will involve the following: If included, the participant will take NeuroAiD oral capsules as directed for 6 months in addition to undergoing standard care treatments Follow-up assessments will occur at 1, 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months and will consist of neurological exams to assess changes in muscle and sensory function and questionnaires. Side effects will also be followed.
