About this trial

This trial is recruiting individuals with chronic cervical (neck area) spinal cord injuries with arm and hand impairment to test the effect of nerve transfer surgery. The surgery reroutes functional arm nerves to restore some hand function. The study will also consider the best timing of the surgery. Participants will receive the nerve transfer with a follow-up period of 24 months to measure arm and hand function. The goal is to see if this procedure improves quality of life and independence.
